ABOUT THAI MASSAGE

Thai massage, also called Thai Yoga Therapy, is an ancient bodywork that is closely related to Indian Aryuveda, yoga, traditonal Chinese medicine and Japanese Shiatsu. It balances the flow of energy by energizing some areas and releasing excess energy in other areas. It works on both the superficial and deeper fascial layers of muscles, ligaments, joints and connective tissue and it touches all areas of the body including the nervous, digestive and respiratory systems.

Thai massage helps headaches, digestive issues, circulatory problems, respiratory problems, energy balance and inflexibility by combining stretching, rhythmic compression, gentle rocking and pressing of acupressure points and lines. It looks and feels like the giver is assisting the receiver in Yoga postures while pressing the Sen (meridian energy lines).
